
The Silicon Valley office and R&D market is a mature market where many buildings have the advantage of location, but that are also showing their age. Individual and institutional owners alike have seen the value of doing exterior upgrades, lobby or façade improvements, and market-ready interiors as a way of attracting tenants. It’s no secret – the “market ready” building leases faster and for more money than its non-renovated (older, unimproved) neighbor.
